Maurice Terzini and his team at Icebergs Dining Room and Bar heads our way 23rd and 24th November. Presenting a weekend of Italo/Oz food, minimal intervention wine, sunset drinks, sleeping by the sea, good music, and good times. The weekend popup showcases their Icebergs Bar, which has developed over the years to become more than just a bar offering but a restaurant bar within itself, developing a similar menu to the dining room, with all the same principles, dedicated to sustainability and quality, however with a lighter approach making it perfect for a more casual visit while at the same time continually leading the way in its dedication to beachside drinking. Tropical Air, Forgotten Islands, Distant Languages, Unknown Seas. This November, Sea Sea presents its first Sound Dinners, hosted by Wesley Herron of Reverberation Radio, LA. exploring the concept of the Diaspora of Sound—the global spread and evolution of music as it crosses cultures. JUNGLE JUNGLE
TBA
Decorous mix between exotica and the birth of house music. Jungle Jungle / Wesley Herron can define a feeling in the atmosphere. serving an old school jazz sound to a modern dancehall is what he does best, bringing a beautiful, unfamiliar language to a space and turning it into a rich and fluid shape. not dissimilar to the way he fills the daylight hours, shaping surfboards in a basement under the name ‘Jungle’. you will find yourself swaying in a tropical room layered with thick air and foreign sounds.

P&V WINE MERCHANTS TAKEOVER
TBA
SEA SEA AND P&V sounds like a rhythm, and one hell of a time. The collaboration between Mike Benny and George Gorrow is on again. Since throwing open its Inner West doors on the Enmore Road in 2017, this booze emporium/ community incubator curio has been keeping the neighbourhood (and beyond) happily watered with all things natural, small batch and local, while also quietly going about their business of breaking the boundaries of wine and liquor retail. It’s no surprise, really, given the pedigree of all involved – these guys sure as hell know their way around a bottle.
-
WOODY GOOCH
TBA
Woody Gooch has become known for his bold, minimal and textural works that cast a fresh and elegant eye over the ocean and its riders. A surfer himself, Gooch captures fleeting moments in the water while honouring the sensual beauty of the waves. In black and white and muted tones, the captivating works of Woody Gooch are the antithesis of high-action, high-zoom imagery often associated with surf photography.
